Easter Shoot

Mr. Buttons was a smash hit at his studio debut! Despite a couple of sleepless nights wondering how my sister's rabbit Mr. Buttons would fare in the Easter Special portraits, he was marvelous. 

He was handled by two year olds and kissed by by four year olds and he never flinched or ran away. I'm posting a couple of shots from the sessions-- we had a lot of fun and Mr. Buttons wants to make a return trip next year! Hope to see you then,

Spring has sprung and the studio is all dressed up for Easter!

Mr. Buttons, a very friendly, mostly white bunny will be at the studio for 5 days in the next couple of weeks, waiting for some nice kids to pet him and have their pictures taken. 

Picture packages start at $75 and include session fee (up to two people) and 1-8x10,2-5x7's and 8 wallets from one pose! This is an incredible deal!

I had the pleasure of photographing the Molis Family last weekend. Stephen and Amy and their beautiful new baby girl Lauren spent two hours with me in the camera room and another hour viewing the session with Stephen's parents. I had plans for the session but Lauren had her own ideas. I have to say that this is the youngest baby I've photographed so I am learning to take my cues from the babies. I can't wait to do my next session! What a joy she is It'll be fun to watch her grow and as the first grandchild on both sides, she's sure to get a lot of attention! Her photos will be hanging in the Sovereign Bank Lobby on Gifford Street in Falmouth soon so stop by and take a look at my photography up close and in person. OPEN HOUSE PARTY!!

Last Friday night, I held an open "studio party"! We had sandwiches from Arties' Cafe on Main Street, yummy cupcakes from CupCapes of Falmouth, homemade desserts, fruits, veggies and drinks including wine. I had a wonderful grooup of people show up to help me celebrate including my family- Linda, Rebecca and Benjamin, Lynne and Bubba and Betty-Jo and Nicole, friends Donna, Bob, Madeline, Eileen, Suzanne, Gilly and my latest models-the O'Brien's. Even some of my former students showed up! Thank you all! I showed a slide show of many of my past clients and even gained a few new ones! I'll post some pics from the event (there weren't too many cause we were too busy having fun)! Can't wait for spring...tweet, tweet! Wow- Now Valentine's Day has come and gone! There are some hints of spring so let's keep our fingers crossed! I was privileged to photograph Pam and Maura from the Chamber last week. I have posted a couple of their images on the blog. Maura is now on vacation in a warm climate but I bet she's thinking of us! Tomorrow I set up a display in the lobby of Sovereign Bank in Pocasset. Stop by for free chocolate and a drawing for a $100 gift certificate! I am also busy preparing for my open house (studio?) party on February 27th. Look for details soon.

Wow! Where did the time go? It's going to be February on Sunday and I am just getting around to posting a new spot on my blog! January was a busy and cold month. I finished getting my new studio together and am finally ready to start shooting indoors in earnest. I will be having an open house on February 27th with some good food and drink and even some door prizes for showing up. Everyone who attends will win something so please stop by and say hi and take a look at my new digs. My studio is in Falmouth at 20 Academy Lane Suite #1 (upstairs Falmouth Chamber of Commerce).  I have a cute little boutique studio with a view of downtown Falmouth (the parking lots anyways!).  I am running several promotions this month besides the open house. First is my tribute to President Obama. If you had a baby on January 20th or know someone who has, I will do a free newborn photo shoot! Good until February 28th. Also, I am sponsoring FFFF-Fun February Facebook Fotos. For fourteen dollars, you can have a new foto taken and posted on facebook. Such a fun bargain.
